Homophobia is a prejudice against homosexuality and bisexuality and -- by extension -- bisexuals and homosexuals. One who subscribes to such ideas is known as a homophobe. In the modern world, most homophobia stems from Abrahamitic religion.
A technically different but generally related concept is that of transphobia, which is a prejudice against transexual people.
