Hoth is a planet in the Star Wars Universe. The Sixth World in the system, Hoth is notable for being cold, with most of its surface constantly covered in glaciers. Despite this, Hoth does have an indiginous ecology, including Herd Dwelling Tauntauns and Predatory Wampas. As it was uninhabited and out of the way, for a short time Hoth was home to a Rebel Alliance base, which was destroyed at the Battle of Hoth
