The Star Wars Expanded Universe (commonly abriviated to EU) is a term used to refer to all the officially licensed fiction and technical information set in the Star Wars universe outside of the movies. EU Material is generally accepted as N or S canon and as such has greatly fleshed out the Star Wars universe. Despite this some events and peices of Fiction in the EU have made it controversial among part of the Fandom.
