@Isolder74: As I recall, HMS Hood was a battlecruiser, not a battleship.
- Yes, I think she was. However the ship was the largest vessel in the Royal Navy and other then lacking sufficient deck armor was more or less a fast battleship in all but name. --Isolder74 23:32, 22 March 2013 (EDT)
- HMS Hood was designed as a battlecruiser, but she was refitted to have the armor of a full battleship. Unfortunately, the upgrade was not completed on the aft deck before she met the Bismarck in battle. --Ted C (talk) 19:25, 7 November 2019 (EST)
