The Grand Army of the Republic was the military force raised by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to defend the Galactic Republic against the Confederacy of Independent Systems after he was granted emergency powers by the Galactic Senate.
The army's initial forces -- and the most visible throughout the Clone Wars -- were the clone troopers provided by the Kaminoans, but the army almost certainly was not solely composed of 3 million Jango Fett clones.
