The periodic table of the elements is a representation of the known chemical elements that orders them by atomic number and groups them into columns and rows by their periodic properties. The columns are known as groups, and the rows are known as periods.
Periodic properties are properties that emerge in patterns depending on the atomic number of the element. Chemical reactivity is periodic property.
