The Hugo is awarded for performance or achievement in science fiction and fantasy each year at the World Science Fiction convention. It is named after prominant science fiction writer and editor Hugo Gernsback.
Each of the original trilogy Star Wars movies won the Hugo award for "Best Dramatic Presentation," as have many of the episodes of the Star Trek TV shows.
