A rancor is a vaguely humanoid predator native to Dathomir that can be as much as ten meters in height. Jabba the Hutt kept one as a pet and occasionally fed prisoners to it for amusement.
Attributes
Rancors are large and strong with powerful jaws, but not very quick. They do not appear to be very intelligent, either. Jabba's was 5 metres tall.
