The Battle of Geonosis (22BBY) was the first battle of the Clone Wars and the first deployment of the Clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic.
Outline of the Battle
After Mace Windu's ill-fated commando mission resulted in the deaths of dozens of Jedi, the Clone Army under the command of Master Yoda arrived.
