The Breen are a space-faring race that were befriended by the Dominion during the Dominion War. Their language is very complex and hard to understand. Breen starships are unique as they are equipped with EMP cannons that can disable enemy ships. During the war, both the Federation and the Romulan Star Empire lost entire fleets because of that weapon.
