I'm back! Sorry for the long absence, but I haven't always been able to give this website high priority compared to other things. Hopefully, the size of this update will make up for the long delay.
A pictorial plot synopsis of Star Trek: Nemesis has been added. What's a pictorial plot synopsis, you ask? Click here to find out :)
The Canon page has been rewritten and updated.
A new "Analysis" page has been created (it discusses methods of analyzing sci-fi).
An "Occam's Razor" page has been added, to discuss the logical principle of parsimony that so many talk about.
Chapter four has finally been added to my long-dormant fanfic! And the next chapter is already in the polishing stages.
New additions to the Hate Mail page: Eric the Mighty Sailor (click here), Ryan Griffin, self-proclaimed PhD (click here), and Andrew Joshua Talon, aka Darkstar's biggest fan (click here).
By the way, for those of you who have been asking if I'm serious about taking down the Star Trek portions of this website, please scroll two entries down and take a good look at the date.

The Shields pages have been heavily rewritten.

I regret to inform you that due to legal actions initiated by an individual named Robert Lipka (aka "Stilgar"), I will soon be forced to take down large portions of this website. Essentially, any content related to Star Trek will have to be removed, as well as any content which mentions Robert Lipka by name. For this reason, I have decided to change the focus of the website from "Star Wars vs Star Trek" to "Star Wars vs Transformers". I hope you will all bear with me through this change.

No updates. I just wanted to help the author of B5Tech publicize the fact that the people who run dracoAlliance.com have shamelessly stolen his work, duplicating huge portions of his website right down to the fonts and formatting, and ignored repeated requests to stop. This kind of behaviour is simply despicable, and I urge everyone to E-mail them and/or their provider with your misgivings. Note that his provider is a British provider named FREEOLA, based in Britain, and the abuse E-mail address is support@freeola.co.uk (for all you propellersheads, this information was obtained from an nslookup on dracoalliance.com followed by a whois at ripe.net, which owns the corresponding Class A netblock). It is also possible to track down the owner of dracoalliance himself, but he has already been contacted with no effect.

New poll and new fanfic chapter.

Spiffy new logo for the welcome page!
New poll.
Slight rearrangement of left-panel buttons. You may notice that the "Campaign" and "Myths" buttons are gone, and a "Forums" button has been added. The Campaign page was moved inside the Tactics section, and the Myths pages were moved into the Technology section, to cut down on the burgeoning number of buttons.

Added a reader-contributed set of pages: a critique of RSA's webpages, by Mike Blackburn (aka "Master of Ossus", one of my BBS denizens). Click here to see it.
Update: check out www.st-v-sw.net/BBindex.html for a laugh. Yes, on the same day that MoO's critique went up, he apparently ran home and wrote up pages in a fit of rage, as if we'd just sent Panzers over the border. He calls it "The Battle of Britain", and he even quotes Winston Churchill! It's almost as if he's trying to confirm everyone's worst suspicions, that he's simply bonkers.
You may also wish to check out www.st-v-sw.net/STSWslander.html for fun. RSA says he's "dropping the bomb" on me by unleashing a flurry of personal attacks. Oooohh, I'm so scared! Among other bizarre paranoid rants, he tries to defend his direct-linking of large AVI files on my server to one his own pages with a lot of legalistic nitpicking about the formal definition of hot-linking (as if this somehow excuses his theft of my server bandwidth). This is absolutely classic.
And finally, it is increasingly starting to look as if he has some sad obsession over me, even in matters completely unrelated to Star Wars or Star Trek. Look at www.st-v-sw.net/Wong.html, a page entitled "The Morality of Wong", in which he rants at length about an incident from my personal life in a grocery store parking lot. This boy desperately needs a life.
Update 2: Darkstar has apparently been tracking my site updates and continues to rant and rave on his website about what a terrible, terrible person I am. I suppose he expects me to engage him in some kind of argument about whether I meet his exacting standards of morality; perhaps he hopes this, like the grocery-store parking-lot diatribe, will distract people from laughable on-topic mistakes such as his bizarre claim that gigawatts per unit time is the same thing as kilowatt-hours. I, on the other hand, would prefer not to get drawn into his bizarre paranoid delusions of a Warsie conspiracy out to get him. Let him rant about my personality, for all the good it will do him.

After discovering that RSA has been hot-linking AVI files from my site and stealing my server bandwidth without permission, I got fed up and redirected all of his links to www.porno.com. Naturally, he found out about it and screamed on his website, in his usual dignified tone: "Mike Wong is a childish twit, most deserving of the "huge gaping vagina" title given to him previously." I suppose the irony of him stealing my bandwidth, hurling incredibly childish insults when I put a stop to it (even his flames are hopelessly sophomoric), and then accusing me of being childish does not occur to him ... Only RSA would have the immense gall to cry victimhood after being caught red-handed stealing someone else's server bandwidth.
Chapter two of "Reign of Terror" is up! Click here to see it.
