Marder 2 Series by Plasmakrab

The Bundeswehr had originally planned to replace the Marder 1 with the Marder 2 around the 2000 time period. However, the collapse of the Soviet Union caused a cancellation of the program as part of an overall downturn in military funding worldwide.

Despite this, a single prototype was built during 1990-91 and trialled, as you can see in the photographs above. The prototype is currently on display at the Panzermuseum in Munster.
