In AOTC, a Clone Trooper with yellow rank came up to Mace Windo and said something like "we have five commando units awaiting your orders" and Windo makes a gestures to indicate direction. A short while later, we see Windo charging towards the droid forces, with at least six Clone Troopers and maybe another Jedi at his heels (of course, that is assuming that only the Clone Troopers directly behind him are part of the commando units).
So what I think is either...
A: The sixth Clone Trooper just happened to be going in the same direction (got lost in battle and thought that he might as well follow the dude with the purple lightsabre).
B: The group of Clone Troopers to Windo's right were also part of the five "commando units", and that "commando units" does not follow the same convention for Clone Trooper "units" (that a unit equals one clone).
C: The group of Clone Troopers to Windo's right were also part of the five "commando units", and that all "units" represent more than a single Clone Trooper each.
