Hell yeah, it would be cool to see Tantive, and I've read somewhere (i think it was in the Incredible Cross Sections) that the CR90s were already 60 years old by the time of ANH. So, as Bail Organa's personal ship, why not?

I agree on the other points, though, and I'm pretty sure Vader will be the one who kills Dooku.
Just imagine the following: Vader and Dooku fighting like berserks, Palpy standing behind them and chuckling evilly. Finally, Vader manages to disarm Dooku, he falls to the ground, and Palpatine says something like:
Your hate has made you powerful! now, fulfill your destiny, and take his place at my side! And then Vader strikes him down.
THAT would be coooool!
