you're also assuming that those pieces of junk they call phasers can penetrate the clone troopers armor. clone trooper armor probably operates like stormtrooper armor, and stormtrooper armor is designed to give some protection from blaster shots. Blaster shots that can easily kill a man by simply showering him with shrapnel from the wall behind him like on the Death Star. If clone trooper armor does work like stormtrooper armor, then phasers might not even singe the clones
