I think all of us should disregard the extended universe garbage. For one the movies have never mentioned anything about any of the extended universe junk. What we should see in ep3 is the seperatists losing and palpatine not giving up his power. We should also see the fall of anakin and bith of lord vader. Padme will die as well as all the jedi excluding yoda and ob-1. The question becomes, who will kill the remaining jedi and how will padme die?

I believe the emperor will somehow kill padme and use her death to further turn anakin into a sith lord. I think we may even see the Death Star in ep3, and no Bevel didnt design the thing, clearly in episode 2, the seperatist designed it.
