Ok, its not that much of a relevation to use Canonists, but AOTC confirms that you can track a ship through hyperspace. Which mean ships in hyperspace can, at least with the aid of a homing signal, detect other ships with their sensors.

It also implies that ships can change course in hyperspace since we know ships can turn while in hyperspace (look at the curvy trade routes). This, of course, was explicitly shown in the Radio Drama.

I hope that one day people will see the line "calculate all possible destinations" as a desperate act instead of the usual way of tracking.
